Blogroll

When I first put up this list, I tried making some divisions, groupings, categories, something.  But that’s just too much trouble, you know?  Too much of a headache.  People keep falling into more than one category, or blog A doesn’t quite fit so well next to blog B, or some such.  Trouble.  So, enough with the categories.  And no more of the careful, figuring-out-the-seating-arrangement-for-the-wedding-receiption shifting of places on the list.  Boy do I love to make things hard for myself!  Everyone’s just listed alphabetically now.  Have at it!

I don’t read here all that often because, no matter what’s going on in his day to day, I find myself crying before I reach the end of a post. Now you might not be as sappy and sentimental as I am, but you’ve been warned.)

  • Give a Little …

I am on the board of WE LEARN: Women Expanding / Literacy Education Action Resource Network. We are the only national organization dedicated to promoting women's literacy as a tool for empowerment, equity and social justice.

We are an organization of volunteers. We do a lot of excellent work with almost no money, but we are looking at a critical six months ... beyond which we might have to pack our tents and go home. We are ever in grant-writing mode, but few foundations share our commitment to women's literacy. I am hoping you will see value where funders have not.

If you have fundraising suggestions, please email me. If you're able to make a donation, please click over to our Groundspring page. Even the smallest gift can change the course of our future as an organization.

Thanks for thinking of us, and check out our video on YouTube to hear more about our mission and our work.
