Do you know about this:
It’s a Wonderbag. And never did a product have a more fitting name. We raffled off one of these at the WE LEARN conference at the beginning of the month. I so wanted to be the winner, but alas, it was not to be. But I have the bug now. Have it bad. I want one of these beauties, want to spend days and weeks and months playing with it, figuring out all the things I can make in it, marveling over the brilliant idea of it.
When we had it on display at the conference, one of the women told me that it reminded her of her childhood. When she was a little girl, she explained, her mother and grandmother would take pots from the stove and wrap them in down comforters with the same effect. I have never heard of this, but I totally love it.
I’ve been meaning to post about this since coming home from Providence, but keep forgetting. Tonight, on my way home from meeting with my mentee, I remembered. Naima and I met a bit late tonight and worked even later, and I was tired and falling asleep on the bus and wishing I could walk in the door to a pre-cooked meal. No such luck. But if I had a Wonderbag …
I think it’s time for me to own one of these!
